-Less crying: your first response to crying is to pick your little one up so, while wearing him/her, you've already got that part taken care of. Also, less crying gives the baby more time to grow and learn.
-More stimulation: your little one listens to you talk and watches you interact with other people and the environment around you. This creates a great learning experience.
-Provides trust: though the world may seem big, loud, and scary to your little one, he/she can feel safe and secure in your arms.
-Tummy time: not all babies enjoy lying on their tummies. Carried time counts as tummy time.
-Helps with digestion issues: When your little one is held upright there is less chance that acid travels up the oesophagus (please follow any advice from your doctor if your baby has been diagnosed with reflux.)
-Hands free: your hands are more free to tend to other children or tasks
-Enhances breastfeeding: since your baby is near the source, he/she will naturally nurse more. Close physical contact also helps maximize milk production.
